Currently, trips are on hold due to COVID-19 and political unrest.
Our veteran team mission members miss working alongside our colleagues and partners in Haiti, and would welcome new members when mission trips resume.

Dear sir/madam,
My name is Charlemagne Verdyl , they call me Charles (for short),I’m Haitian and living in Haiti. I have been working as an interpreter for more than 17 years, quite a long experience in assisting medical, evangelical and other type of volunteer groups from the USA and Canada. I’m also a computer technician and I do a little bit of data base for Friends of Haiti which is a non profit organization from the USA.
Missionaries that I used to work with, have been cancelling mission trips due to too much civil unrest and insecurity in the country. So I’m available most of my times, I would like to know the possibility of working with you as a interpreter in your future missions to Haiti.
Best regards
Charles
Dear Charles — Thank you for your interest in supporting Medical Aid to Haiti (MATH). Your contact information is being forwarded to Dr. Wilkens Gilbert, Medical Director for the MATH-supported Centre Medico-Chirurgical du Quartier. He is responsible for coordinating interpreters for mission teams to our Port-au-Prince Project. Regards, Anne D’Orvilliers, Chair / Secretary
Good Evening Anne,
My name is Nancy Metayer, I am originally from Port-au-Prince, I have been in the US for some time now. I Read about MATH a couple of months ago in a 2020 magazine. I am very pleased there’s a optical mission to Haiti. Working for a Optical boutique I mentioned to my boss about the mission, She would like to know how she can help out with donations, she would like to give a hand. I am personally thinking about going to one of the future missions. If you would forward some informations to me I would be most appreciative.
Best
Nancy
Nancy — Good evening.
Thank you for your interest in MATH and the work that is being done to provide eyecare to the villagers most in need. I will send an email with information. Regards–Anne
I know of a woman in Dame-Marie that needs to be seen for possible surgery. A tree fell on her feet and she can not walk upright. How can I set up a time for her to see a surgeon during the next surgical medical mission. I have been on mission trips to Haiti four times and adopted two children from Haiti. I have a great passion for helping those in Haiti with their needs. Thank you..
